Please contact Consumer Direct in the first instance.

It may be worth thinking about using a Square Deal Trader, as they have all committed to comply with the law and have systems in place should anything go wrong. There's a link to the website on the right where you can search our list of members.

We are always interested in hearing about rip offs and you can let us know by telephoning Consumer Direct or emailing us and you can do this anonymously if you prefer. We may not always be able to respond individually, however all the information we receive is used to target our resources to the areas of most need.

We employ people whose job it is is to look after the communities of Portsmouth.  These Community Trading Standards Officers are here to respond to issues identified by residents. You can engage with them by attending community events and activities.
