Dumped rubbish

The problem of litter has soared in recent years and, nationally, the annual bill for removing it from streets, waterways and open spaces is a massive £370 million. The most common items are cigarette ends, sweet and food wrappers. Unfortunately dumped rubbish can take many forms and is far more involved than simply litter - dog fouling, fly posting, fly tipping and recycling are all issues which need to be addressed to reduce the problem.
