Sheltered Housing

Sheltered housing is a flat or bungalow especially designed and built with the needs of elderly people in mind.  Sheltered housing is run and maintained by the council and is usually available to residents in the local area who feel that they require support to live independently.An application for shelterd housing can be done in person or by visiting the housing options department within the civic offices , if you are already on the Council's Housing register you can simply request a revision form and indicate on it that you are interested in being considered for sheltered housing.
