School transport

To qualify for free transport to school, your child must attend their designated school, or one that is nearer to their home, and the distance (measured by the shortest practicable walking route) must be either : more than two miles for children under 8 years of age (Year 3 and under) or more than three miles for children from age 8 and over (Year 4 and over). If no place is available at the designated school, free transport may be given to the next nearest school with an available place if written confirmation is provided by the Headteacher.
