Every house across the city can take part in the Pompey Recycling Scheme allowing you to recycle from the comfort of your own home.Recycling collections take place every fortnight on the same day as your normal rubbish collection. Fill your recycling container with all your unwanted paper, card, can and plastic bottles and we'll do the rest.

Q : Why can't I recycle all types of plastic?A : Unfortunately, only plastic bottles can be recycled at the moment because it's not economically or environmentally efficient to recycle other types of plastic, even if they display the recycling triangle.
