We have 8 area offices located over the city to help those on Housing or Council Tax Benefit and offer general housing advice. To claim Housing or Council Tax benefit you need to fill in a form and take it to your local area office along with various proofs so that your claim can be looked at.Other benefits are administered by Jobcentre Plus, part of the Department of Work and Pensions.
