Community Wardens

Community Wardens are the eyes and ears of the Community, providing a uniformed presence on the streets of Portsmouth - working in designated patrol areas in Paulsgrove and Wymering, Buckland, Landport, Portsea and Somerstown. We aim to make people feel safer, deter crime and anti-social behaviour and help to deliver a clean and tidy environment. Community Wardens patrol on foot and in vehicles and are a friendly approachable point of contact, available to offer help and advice to residents. Community Wardens also work closely with partner agencies and local people promoting community groups and facilities, and helping to build stronger and more confident communities.
