Performance of the council
Strategy is a corporate team and are responsible for advising on the selection of priorities for Portsmouth City Council and the development of overarching strategies, including the Portsmouth Local Strategic Partnership's community strategy and our own corporate plan. We have a support role, providing guidance and direction to drive improvements in performance.Our work involves:- identifying key needs in Portsmouth
- partnership working with other organisations who can help deliver our priorities
- strategies to address the needs and priorities
- performance management to check that we keep on course
