Travel Plan Initiatives Fund
Last updated: 23 September 2011 09:38 UKGrants of up to £3,000 match funding were offered to encourage workers to use their cars less. To boost the numbers of people who get to work by walking, cycling or using public transport – cutting emissions and congestion. The money was available to any local company or organisation that has developed a travel plan – a strategy for greener travel. The money was for a specific project, and the applicant must match it with an equal amount.
