We are looking for landlords (or agents) who would like to rent their property.
We are able to act as a tenant-finding agent and provide you with tenants who are registered to Portsmouth City Council's Access scheme. The scheme aims to tackle housing issues in the city and prevent homelessness by helping people to access private rented accommodation. There are many benefits:
Once we have found you suitable tenants, it is the landlords responsibility to manage the tenancy and maintain the property throughout the tenancy period.
If you do not want to take an active role in managing your property, you may be interested in leasing your property for two to five years through Portsmouth Housing Association (PHA). Under this scheme, PHA will manage your property and guarantee a rental income for the period of the lease. For further information, contact PHA on 08450 551122
The landlord is able to set the level of rent that is appropriate for the type of property. Once a suitable tenant is found, the level of rent will need to be checked by the Housing Benefit team to ensure this it is affordable and is at a similar rate to properties in the area.
