Consortium link group
The consortium link group is an elected group of residents that represents each area of local authority housing in Portsmouth. They play a vital part in influencing housing issues by:
- working with the resident participation team to improve housing and other services
- getting involved in national issues, such as increases to rent
- championing residents rights
- helping other residents to help themselves
The areas they represent are Buckland, Landport, Leigh Park, Somerstown, Paulsgrove, Portsea and Wecock Farm. There are also specific groups for multi-cultural, young people, sheltered housing and leaseholders.
Once a year, you have the opportunity to either be elected or to elect a representative member to join the consortium link group. The details of which are advertised in HouseTalk magazine.
If you would like to be considered for a role on the consortium link group, contact us on Freephone 0800 032 1531, email participation@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or write to us at Navigators Resource Centre, FREEPOST (SCE14360), Portsmouth, PO1 2BR
