Portsmouth City Council City Crest

Consortium link group

Members of the consortium link group The consortium link group is an elected group of residents that represents each area of local authority housing in Portsmouth.  They play a vital part in influencing housing issues by:
  • working with the resident participation team to improve housing and other services
  • getting involved in national issues, such as increases to rent
  • championing residents rights
  • helping other residents to help themselves

The areas they represent are Buckland, Landport, Leigh Park, Somerstown, Paulsgrove, Portsea and Wecock Farm.  There are also specific groups for multi-cultural, young people, sheltered housing and leaseholders.

Once a year, you have the opportunity to either be elected or to elect a representative member to join the consortium link group.  The details of which are advertised in HouseTalk magazine.

If you would like to be considered for a role on the consortium link group, contact us on Freephone 0800 032 1531, email participation@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or write to us at Navigators Resource Centre, FREEPOST (SCE14360), Portsmouth, PO1 2BR
