Residential Parking Standards Draft SPD for consultation
We have revised our guidance on residential parking standards because government policy has changed.
Portsmouth has a dense network of terraced housing in streets that were built before many people owned cars. There is little or no off-street parking. Today there is high demand for any available on-street parking spaces and this has been made worse by restrictive parking standards.
We would like your comments on the revised parking standards. These are explained in the document below.
