Nationality Checking Service

From the 23rd July 2008 Portsmouth Registration Service will be offering a Nationality Checking Service. This service is for anyone applying for British Nationality and enables them to have their completed application forms checked and their original documents photocopied and certified by a trained Nationality Adviser. The forms and certified photocopies are then sent to the Home Office via a secure courier service for next morning delivery.

The service is open to anyone, regardless of where they are living in the UK and is available by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The fees payable for this service are as follows:

 Service  Total Fee (Inclusive of VAT)
 Single Applicant  £50.00

 Family (2 Adults and up to 2 Children)

£100.00
 Additional Child on Parents Application  £15.00
