Please contact the Parking Service on 023 9268 8310 to confirm eligibility for a permit.

Permits are not valid in limited waiting bays in Palmerston Road, Portland Road, Ashburton Road, Osborne Road, Clarendon Road, Netley Road and Marmion Road.  Signage is in place to advise that permits are not valid.

Permits are also not valid in car parks, with the exception of Southsea Common Car Park.  Permits are not valid on Pay and Display bays in Avenue de Caen, Jack Cockerill Way or Clarence Esplanade.  They are valid in Pay and Display areas on Clarence Parade, South Parade, Western Parade, Southsea Terrace and Duisburg Way.  Permits are not interchangeable with any other scheme.

Visitors and non-permit holders are entitled to three hours free parking other than on pay & display meters where a scratch card must be displayed immediately.  The scheme operates at all times.

Visitors Parking Scratch Cards are available from Palmerston Road Post Office and Elm Grove Library.
