Conservation Area 03 - King Street

king street photo This conservation area is in an area of Southsea developed from 1830 onwards, containing a mixture of Victorian period terraces, post-war flats and more recent groups of modern, mainly terraced housing.

It includes:

  • listed buildings in King Street, facing onto a pedestrian precinct
  • listed terraces in Gloucester View and Norfolk Street
  • unlisted terraces and groups in St James's Road and Brougham Road
