The Portsmouth Children's Trust

The Trust is not a separate organisation but a partnership of agencies committed to meeting the needs of children, young people, families and their communities through commissioning together, developing common ways of working and where needed, delivering integrated provision on the ground.  The model is passionate about community empowerment and capacity building to deliver better outcomes for children and young people across the whole city (the Portsmouth 8).

Professionals and communities working together to share responsibility to find solutions and to implement them. The trust works through the Children and Young Persons Strategic Partnership.

The Children and Young People Strategic Partnership Executive is chaired by Lynda Fisher, Strategic Director - Children, Families and Learning.  It is supported by the Joint Commissioning Group chaired by Carl Burton, Head of Youth Service.

To find out more about the inter-agency work of the Trust please view the external link located on the right of this page under External Links.  Alternatively, please telephone 023 92841607.
