How do I apply for a disabled parking badge?
Social services are responsible for issuing disabled parking badges in Portsmouth.
If you have difficulty walking you may be entitled to a disabled parking badge. Here's how to apply:
- telephone 023 9284 1176 and ask for a form to be sent to you.
- complete the form and return it to us. Please make sure that the information you put down on the form is about the disabled person who needs the badge.
- we will contact the disabled person's GP to confirm the information you've given us.
- if your application is acceptable, your disabled parking badge will be sent to your home.
- information on how to use the disabled parking badge will be sent to you with the badge.
Ho do I apply for a disabled parking bay?
If you feel you could benefit from an allocated parking space in the road outside your house, please contact us for an application form.
Details of the criterion required for obtaining a parking bay are set out in the form. If these are met the form will then be processed, if not we will notify you accordingly.
