We offer certificates for:
Please note that the commemorative certificate is not to be used for any legal or statutory purposes. If the event took place outside of Portsmouth evidence is also required to show that the event has taken place, such as a certified copy certificate of the actual event.
To order your commemorative certificate, you can use the online form, download a copy below and send it back to us or visit us in person. Each certificate costs £5 and for an extra £1 it can be laminated. Payment is required with your application and you can pay in the following ways:
Examples of each type of certificate available are on display at Portsmouth Register Office. If you wish to see a different format to that shown, please ask a member of staff who will be pleased to show you samples. These specially designed certificates are printed on quality paper and come in a standard framing size of A4 (210mm x 297mm).
