What's new

As of the 15 August the Council along with members of the Safer Portsmouth Partnership are implementing a Designated Public Places Order. This means that if a person is behaving in an anti social manner,  likely to behave in an anti social behaviour, or complaints have been received from the public concerning an ongoing or developing  problem a police officer or police community support officer may ask a person to stop drinking and or confiscate their alcohol. If they refuse to comply with this request the person may then be arrested and fined up to a maximum of £500.
