Minerals and Waste Development Framework

The city council is preparing a Minerals and Waste Development Framework in partnership with Hampshire County Council,  Southampton City Council and the New Forest National Park Authority. It looks at ways in which the area's need for minerals and waste facilities can be met up to 2020.

The Core Strategy was adopted in July 2007, and work is ongoing on the Minerals & Waste Sites Allocations documents.
