Cycle Trainers
To become a Cycle Trainer you need to have an ability to relate to cyclists of all ages and a general understanding of the vulnerability of cyclists and the dangers which they face in modern traffic and highway conditions. It is not an essential requirement to ride a bicycle, but it would be an advantage when teaching young cyclists. You will need to attend a Cycle Instructor Training course which can be arranged at a convenient time to you. This will cover the course aims, general administration, planning a course, hazard awareness and practical on-road cycling.
If you would like to become a Cycle Trainer please contact the Road Safety Office on 023 9268 8262 to register your interest.
