Planning Application Fees
Last updated: 03 March 2010 15:32 UKDetails of our Planning Application Fees are shown in the document at the bottom of the page.
There is also a fee relating to submissions for any consent, agreement or approval required by a planning condition.
This is:
- £85 for each request or
-
£25 where the related permission was for:
- extending or altering a dwelling house or
- other development in the curtilage of a dwelling house
A fee is payable for each submission you make regardless of the number of conditions for which you are seeking approval.
For example, if you have received planning permission to extend your home and planning conditions require you to have the materials and means of enclosure approved, a fee of £25 would be required if you submitted the required information together. A further fee of £25 will be required for any further submissions made.
This fee is payable for conditions related to planning permissions and reserved matter applications only.
The requirement to make this charge is set out in Government Circular 04/2008 – for Planning Related Fees see particularly paragraphs 123 - 131.
For example, a fee would not be required for conditions attached to listed building consents and conservation area consents. -
