A multi-disciplinary panel which meets once a month in each geographical area to consider needs and provide appropriate services for vulnerable children and families.

The aim of the panel is to reduce offending and anti-social behaviour in Portsea and Paulsgrove and Wymering, through effective assessment, early intervention and the enhanced social inclusion of young people and their families. This will be achieved by maximising life chances, empowering individuals to develop and ensuring that appropriate needs are identified and met successfully.

The panel works with young people under the age of 18 in Portsea and with children between the ages of 8 and 12 in Paulsgrove and Wymering.

YISP is funded by SRB, the Children's Fund, On Track and the National Regeneration Fund.
