Level one foster carer

photo of a teenage boy and girl drinking coffee There are three different levels of fostering - 1,2 and 3.

We need mainstream level one foster carers to provide a loving home for children and young people. You will need to provide a good standard of childcare and encourage the full potential of each child to develop socially, emotionally and educationally.

Person specification

We need as wide a range of foster carers as possible so we can match our children and young people to the most suitable placement.
Ideally you will have some experience of children and young people either as a parent, relative or in a voluntary or professional capacity. However this is not a requirement.

All enquiries are welcomed and we will explore your suitability with you at the initial visit. There are no restrictions in terms of age, marital status, sexuality, religion, culture or previous experience.

You must be willing to undertake training and skills development.

Fee

You will receive a boarding out allowance for each child who is placed with you.
