In-Tend open days

What will happen on the day?

You will be provided with access to a computer and be given hands on In-Tend training covering the following:

• registering your organisation
• providing access across your organisation
• updating your organisation's details
• navigating In-Tend
• expressing interest in contract opportunities
• responding to e-mail notifications
• accessing documentation
• uploading and returning your bids
• accessing and replying to correspondence
• do's and don'ts

Once you have completed the training we will then be available to take any questions you might have.

Where will the open days take place?

The open days will take place at our IT facilities located at the Professional Centre, Sundridge Close, Cosham. A map, together with directions, will be provided upon confirmation of your booking.

When are the dates and times?

The open day programme has now been completed.  However, if you are interested in attending a future open day please complete and return the form below.

Morning and afternoon sessions will take place on each day with morning sessions running from 9:00 - 12:00 and afternoon sessions from 13:00 - 16:00

How many spaces will be available?

At each session we will be able to provide training to a maximum of ten people, as this is the number of computers our facility has available. Availability will be limited and we cannot guarantee you a place at your preferred date and time. We also cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide more than one place for your organisation. However, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Who should attend from my organisation?

In-Tend functions primarily as a web-based administrative tool used to enable the secure transmission of documents between procurers and suppliers via the Internet.  We would recommend that you put forward those individuals from within your organsation who are responsible for administering bidding processes, rather than those involved in the technical side of putting the bids together. 

How do I apply for a place?

To apply, simply complete the form below and return it to:  procurement@portsmouthcc.gov.uk. We will endeavour to respond to any requests within 2-3 working days.
