Hilsea Lines Ranger giving a guided walk Our Countryside Rangers at Hilsea Lines and Portsdown Hill regularly hold outdoor walks that illustrate the diverse range of natural and historical interest that can be found in Portsmouth.  Dates of these and any other horticultural talks will appear below, but should you need further information you can email us at parks@portsmouthcc.gov.uk 

You may also be interested in the ‘Walking the way to Health Initiative’.  This was set up by the British Heart Foundation and the Countryside Agency.  The initiative aims to improve the health and fitness of more than a million people, especially those who do little exercise or who live in areas of poor health.  The website has a directory of healthy walks all over the UK.  Use the ‘External Links’ to the right of the page to visit their website.
